We are proud to announce the signing of a partnership agreement between BiotechPole Sidi Thabet and HealthCare Innovation (HCI), with a clear priority: accelerating Digital Health in Tunisia.

This collaboration aims to strengthen the national innovation ecosystem by building structured digital health and biotech pipelines, connecting startups with healthcare stakeholders, and enhancing joint capacity to respond to national and international funding opportunities.

Why This Partnership Matters

Digital health transformation requires strong coordination between research hubs, innovation clusters, and industry actors. The WHO Global Strategy on Digital Health (2020–2025) emphasizes ecosystem collaboration, governance, and interoperability as foundational pillars for effective health system modernization. The OECD similarly highlights that innovation ecosystems must connect research, startups, and industry to scale impactful solutions.

This partnership aligns with these priorities by creating structured collaboration between Tunisia’s biotech infrastructure and HealthTech innovation ecosystem.

• Launch a joint Digital Health & biotech project pipeline, including proposal development and coordinated responses to national and international calls.
• Organize co-branded ecosystem events such as workshops, conferences, and seminars connecting startups with healthcare and industry stakeholders.
