The curriculum is built on a Design Thinking methodology, with training modules covering three key themes: “know yourself,” “design your idea,” and “develop your product.” Participants benefit from collective coaching sessions, experience sharing with “success story” guest speakers, and individual coaching sessions tailored to 12 different themes based on their specific needs.

Flagship Initiatives & Ventures The program’s launch was highly successful, attracting 72 quality applications. Due to the high quality of the projects, 15 innovative project holders and startups were selected as the program’s final beneficiaries, exceeding the initial plan of 10. In its first six months, the program delivered 21 training sessions and 33 individual coaching sessions, culminating in a €10,000 grant awarded to the top-performing ventures.

Program in Action The program uses a “learning by doing” and LEAN startup methodology to guide entrepreneurs from patent to product. It provides intensive capacity building in business development, prototyping, testing, B2B partnerships, and regulatory/certification pathways.

All activities are centralized at a single physical Hub at the Cyberparc de Monastir, creating a carrefour for synergies between scientific researchers and experts from engineering and IT institutes. The 12-month program is highly competitive, filtering 12 pre-selected projects down to 6 finalists, with the 3 final laureates receiving 10,000 DT grants (in voucher form) to accelerate their prototyping and market access.

Flagship Initiatives & Ventures The program is designed to incubate 12 entrepreneurs annually, drawn from the region’s 10+ medical, biological, and agro-food institutions. The target for each cohort is to successfully launch 6 new startups, with 4 achieving the national “Startup Label” and 2 raising an estimated 200,000 DT in early-stage funding, creating 12 new high-skilled jobs. The program focuses specifically on ventures in BioTech, HealthTech, and FoodTech.

The platform addresses the critical need for access to updated protocols by providing healthcare professionals with instant therapeutic recommendations and real-time data access, streamlining clinical decision-making and improving patient care.

Strategic Positioning & Model OncoConnect is the flagship case study of HCI’s “Clinical-Pull” methodology, which is executed through our Innovation Process with Doctors. Rather than pushing technology onto clinicians, this venture was co-created with oncologists to solve their specific, validated problems. The venture was recently featured in the Startup Valley at the Innovation Galaxy at ICCO 2025, a premier event for connected oncology, highlighting its market readiness and clinical relevance.
