DESCRIPTION

Established in 1893, the Institut Pasteur de Tunis (IPT) is a prominent public health and research institution in Tunisia. Operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health, IPT is dedicated to conducting epidemiological and clinical studies, biomedical investigations, and research related to both human and animal health. The institute is renowned for producing vaccines and therapeutic sera to meet national healthcare needs.
from 1903 to 1936, it was led by Charles Nicolle, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1928 for his groundbreaking work on infectious diseases.
